About MSA

The Malaysian Students' Association (MSA) is an association targeted at Malaysian students studying in RMIT, but it is also open to all students studying in RMIT. We do have non-Malaysian members ... it is found that many would like to learn of Malaysia's culture, and what better way to learn than to be in the company of Malaysians?

MSA hopes to bring the students together so that they will be able to become friends in Australia. Leaving home to study in a foreign country is never an easy experience and as such being in the company of friends is indeed a prime factor that helps everyone go through such an experience.

Seniors helping the juniors is another advantage of MSA - for those new and unfamiliar with Australia, learning from the seniors is the next best thing to chocolate (!). Field trips organised by MSA not only gives everyone the opportunity to see Australia but also at an affordable price (that is much cheaper than doing it alone).

MSA also strives to provide its members with many other advantages such as discounts at selected restaurants and shops, and employment assistance.
